Bran orange muffins with whole wheat

Orange Bran Flax Muffins

( Whole wheat orange muffins

This is my favorite bran muffin recipe. It’s so easy and delicious! I got it from another website a couple of years ago and made a couple of tweaks. It has all the good stuff, specifically prebiotic fibers, when it comes to promoting and maintaining the good bacteria in our digestive tract.

This has a wheat bran, oatbran, and ground flax seeds, or flax meal. Buttermilk gives them great moisture and the oranges given them a sunny flavour. Use some orange rind to give them some citrus intensity.
