Acetyl L-Carnitine (ALC) is a highly effective form of carnitine that is best known for its ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and optimize brain function. It is also known for its ability to support cellular energy production by transporting fat into the mitochondria, which is then converted to energy (as ATP, the fuel for cells).
What does acetyl carnitine do?
This is the supplement of choice for anyone wishing to maintain healthy energy levels, brain power and nerve function. It is most concentrated in tissues that use fatty acids as their primary fuel, such as skeletal and cardiac (heart) muscle.
Acetyl L-carnitine may help prevent damage caused by free radicals and reduce the effects of oxidative stress. Its powerful effects in the body may increase when taken with alpha lipoic acid.

Directions for Use
As a dietary supplement take one packet 1 to 2 times per day, or as directed by a health care practitioner. For best results, snip or tear the notched end off the packet, squeeze into one or more ounces of your favorite cool beverage, swirl and shoot it back!. It will enter the blood stream faster if you take it on an empty stomach and wait at least 15 minutes before eating. It will be absorbed slower when taken with food or after a meal.
